Cakewalk Drum Maps

This is a quick page about drum maps (*.map) for Cakewalk Sonar.

Creative Sauce's "Easy setup tutorial with free drum maps" at https://youtu.be/sIquUl-7NfE was triggering my interest in that topic.

When I was looking for Steven Slate's "SSD5" and Toontrack's "Ezdrummer2" maps, I couldn't find many so I took it upon myself to create them (for my personal use initially).

I don't own all the products, thus could only test a few - but these worked well.

The following files are provided with no guarantee - use at your own risk.

How to use:
1. Put the map into your "Drum Maps" folder (as is defined in Cakewalk Preferences);
2. Load map into the "MIDI Out" of your channel (Split "Simple Instrument" track if needed);
3. Right-Click on any spot in the loaded drum map to open the "Drum Map Manager";
4. Inside the Drum Map Manager, set all the "Out Port" to your <DrumsVST> instance (hold Ctrl+Shift to change all at once);
5. Inside the Drum Map Manager, set all the "Chn." to what channel your MIDI data are on (Ctrl+Shift for all at once);
#Note: The default in this drum map is set to channel 10.
